In collaboration with Snipes to offer workshops and courses aimed at empowering youth, with a special focus on the Neukölln neighborhood and the Snipes Studio 44. Our goal is to inspire and engage young people through activities such as a shoe upcycling workshop, dance classes, rap sessions, and female empowerment workshops.
For young adults up to 27 years old, the Wannsee Dance Camp brings together youth from all over Germany to experience international and intercultural exchange through dance. We invite artists from around the world to join and contribute to the camp. Along with film projects, there’s always a big final performance at the end.
In collaboration with the Neukölln district office, we have organized five training camps at the Baltic Sea and in Barcelona. These camps are aimed at young girls who, due to family circumstances, rarely have the opportunity to travel. In addition to sightseeing and leisure activities, we offer dance workshops, culminating in a video project and a dance performance. Around 80 girls have participated in these camps, which are also open to visitors from youth recreation centers.
We have organized over 60 dance battles – from local events in places like Neukölln Arkaden, youth centers, and theaters, to international events, such as in Cuba with over 1,000 participants. Sometimes, we collaborate with partners like the Federal Ministry or brands like Snipes. Our goal remains the same: to strengthen the urban dance community, create a supportive platform where dancers can prove themselves and connect, while also raising funds for future projects.
In cooperation with Kultur macht stark,
we offer dance and theater projects for young people up to 18 years old, focusing on cultural and political topics. These programs are designed for girls and boys who typically have limited access to cultural activities, which is why they are free for the participants. Our organization collaborates with youth centers such as the Mädchenzentrum Medea and the Young Arts Nachbarschaftshaus Neukölln. During school holidays, we organize intensive dance and theater workshops with professional instructors and educators.
In 2019, we hosted “Europe in Motion,” an international exchange that brought together choreographers from six European countries to Berlin. Through performances and collaboration, the project explored European values and how to strengthen connections across the continent.
